how to load a backpack

For longer Hikes, one usualy needs a good backpack.
with changes, of clothes, cookwear, and food and shelter.
rule number one in packing a pack, is heavier to the top.
this keeps the wieght ballanced, and you ballanced.
The lighter, less frequently needed items on the bottom of the pack, packed first. If you can pack your stove, fuel, and snacks, with first aid items, and or Medicines in the side packets.
pack parkas, and rainware to the top of your pack.
if packing a tent and ground cloth, attach towards the top of your pack. sleeping pads, and Rainflys below them.
a great place for the sleeping bag, is below that, but not below ones pack, as the Sleeping bag slapping your Butt, can get quite anoying.
Food, always on top, easy to get to.
If you think that carrying these in a handbag, STOP,
as carrying any wieght in your hands, can wear you out,
on your first day, most will abandon these carry bags, and contents on the start of the second days hike.
Have fun
Sam
