What is the AAFA?

AAFA stands for Antique Americana Folk Art. It is a group of okay sellers who specialize in early American antiques and antique folk art. Our intention is to help the bidder find quality Americana by using the AAFA as a keyword search. Our members have all agreed to keep listings that use the AAFA name within the critera of being antique, American Countryand original. However, there are several individuals that list items using our name without asking so that they can ride our coat tails. These sellers offer items that are not up to our standards. We are not a group that can govern these "copycat" listers. The AAFA name is meant as a keyword tool to help the bidder find good Americana dealers. It is not an absolute guarantee that every dealer using the name is reputable. We cannot control these copycats, so plese be certain to also check the feedback of a seller before bidding.
