healthy water
Are you aware that not all bottled water is good for you? Are you aware that water is not FDA approved? Water isnt categorized as a food, so it doesnt have to be evaluated! You may think that water is life, and water is good for you, and if it is good healthy pure water you are right! I am not talking about drinking bad water from a ditch or anything here. We already know THAT can make you sick! NO! I am talking about bottled water.Did you know that the plastic used to bottle most water can release toxins? And since water sometimes isnt FDA approved, there also may be some bacteria in it. Bacteria thrive on heat! Here is a scenario I think will hit frighteningly close to home. You buy a large amount of bottle water, and put it in the trunk of your car. You leave it there because "hey, water doesnt spoil!" and just put a few in your fridge. Or you leave it in the trunk for emergency purposes (its a good idea to keep things in your car in case you get stranded somewhere.... blankets, first aid, water nonperishables etc). The sun beats down on your car and heats the water. It cools, and the next day, it heats again. over ond over. But water doesnt go bad right? WRONG.A friend of mine recently became very very ill. She didnt know what was causing this sickness, but she felt like she had been poisoned. This lasted for 6 whole weeks. It finally got to the point that she was vomiting yellowish bile. She did everything to get better. She ate healthy foods and got plenty of rest and drank 8 glasses of bottled water a day. Finally, she researched her symptoms. And lo and behold. The water she was drinking to be healthy and flush her system was actually making her very very verrrry sick. She could have died. As soon as she stopped drinking that water (which by the way she buys in bulk and leaves in the back seat of her van) and started drinking water from glass bottles which she kept cold at all times, she got better. She is now doing fine, but it could have done alot of damage.Heated plastic releases toxins. The toxins get into the water. And the bacteria from unevaluated bottled water THRIVE on heat. So, double whammy, you have poisons AND large amounts of bacteria in your water. What can you do to have safe healthy water?1. Keep all drinks that are in plastic bottles refrigerated.2. If you must store the water unrefrigerated, buy Glass bottles. If you cant afford to buy the glass bottled water, go to the grocery store, buy the glass bottled applejuice, and keep your water in that bottle! great moneysaver, and reusable!3. If you choose to use tap water instead of bottled, they make great filters you can screw right on to your faucet!Stay healthy, and get your 8 glasses of H2o in folks, but be safe!NOTE: Many stores dont keep their water cold. But stores are usually air conditioned. So, they arent out in the heat constantly. Even sitting in your kitchen floor or cabinet, its better than the heat of your trunk!
